THE TRUTH UNDRESSED

Smashing stigmas around vulvas and vaginas through education.

Challenge

Only 6% of young women in the UK found out about intimate health conditions through school, and just under two-thirds of them found out about vaginal infections when they first experienced them. 46% of UK women are worried about the appearance of their vulva, with many admitting they would change something about it if they could.

Insight
There’s porn readily available on the internet, yet everywhere else, we’re so afraid of being explicit that any accurate representation of reality is avoided; leaving us stuck between representations warped for entertainment and over-simplified diagrams.

Creative Solution
A platform giving audiences unprecedented access to the naked truth, and free supporting lesson plans for secondary school teachers. Featuring photographic images of real vulvas to support lessons, avoid speculation and help desexualise vulvas and vaginas. To drive traffic to TruthUndressed.co.uk, social ads disseminate awareness of the missing information.

Impact to date
